KlyraOS vs Excel: when spreadsheets stop working
Excel is flexible and cheap, and for one site it works at first. Problems arrive with people, locations and inspections.
Where Excel breaks
No data control
An overwritten cell leaves no trace: you cannot tell who changed what and when.
No granular access
You either share the whole file or nothing. Per-person permissions do not exist.
Mobile is unusable
Logging a temperature or reading a rota on a spreadsheet from a phone is painful.
No automation
Reports, reminders and alerts stay somebody's manual work.
How to move from Excel to KlyraOS
1. Start with one module
Usually rotas or HACCP: whatever costs you the most time today.
2. Import master data
People, job tags, products and recipes are entered once.
3. Add the rest later
Inventory, production and analytics activate per site when you want them.
