Rotas on WhatsApp vs KlyraOS: where the group ends and chaos starts
The group is instant and everyone has it. But a rota posted in a chat is not an approved, tracked and counted rota.
What the group cannot do
No single version
The rota picture gets edited, reshared and nobody knows which one is current.
Confirmations get lost
A thumbs-up is not verifiable when you need to reconstruct who worked.
Hours still need counting
At month end somebody retypes everything for payroll.
No rest and limit checks
Nothing warns you when someone misses the rest period between shifts.
How to replace the group
1. Publish the rota once
Everyone sees only their own shifts on their phone, always current.
2. Handle swaps in the flow
Requests, approvals and replacements stay in the history.
3. Hours add up on their own
Labour cost and worked hours are already calculated per site and period.
