Types of notification

Notifications cover different areas: new announcements, direct messages, shift changes, document deadlines and HACCP alerts. Each area can have a different channel.

Available channels

You can choose push on the phone, email or only the in-app bell, depending on how urgent each notification type is for your role.

Quiet hours

You can set time windows in which you do not receive push notifications, useful to avoid being disturbed outside your shift.

Settings for managers

Whoever manages a site may have extra mandatory notifications (e.g. clocking corrections to approve) that cannot be fully disabled.

Problemi frequenti

• No notifications arrive → operating system permissions denied to the app → re-enable them from phone settings
• Too many push notifications → all channels set to push → switch to email or in-app for less urgent alerts
• Missed a shift change → shift notification disabled → re-enable it in preferences to avoid missing critical updates
