How to prepare a dedicated tablet, install the Station PWA and pair it with the site.
Station is the KlyraOS PWA for a fixed site tablet shared during a shift. Prepare the device, open the Station address and pair it with the correct site before operational use.
Use a dedicated tablet, connected to the site’s Wi-Fi and with the screen always on during opening hours. Avoid installing other apps that could interfere with notifications or background operation.
Open the Station PWA in the tablet browser and add it to the Home screen. On first launch, it opens the pairing flow directly.
Place Station where staff can reach it easily and near the department that uses it, without obstructing service.
You can have several Stations at the same site: each tablet is paired individually and keeps independent settings.
Can I turn a Station later on?
Yes, you can change the mode from the device settings, but you may need to redo the pairing with the site.
Do I need a specific tablet to use Station?
You need a tablet with a compatible operating system and stable Wi-Fi; no particular model is required.
How many devices can I have at one site?
There is no fixed limit set by the app: it depends on operational needs and the active subscription plan.
