Klyra Assistant: what data it uses and how privacy is protected
Understand which information about your site the assistant reads, how it respects assigned permissions and how data is handled.
The assistant works exclusively on your organisation’s data already present in Klyra and follows the same permissions that govern access to the app’s sections. It never shares information between different organisations or uses it for purposes unrelated to your business.
Data consulted
The assistant reads stock, batches, shifts, recipes, costs and HACCP activities from your site to answer questions and prepare the operational proposals described in the other guides.
Respect for permissions
If your role does not have access to a section, for example financial data, the assistant will not use it in the answers it gives you: assigned permissions also apply within the conversation.
- No access to data outside your role’s permissions
- No sharing between different organisations
- No use of data to train unauthorised third-party models
- Conversation history visible only to those who created it and authorised managers
Conversation retention
Conversations are stored according to the same data retention policies as your organisation, viewable in the privacy and security section.
Questions on sensitive topics
If you ask about employees’ personal data (contracts, pay), the assistant only answers if your role already has access to that information in the corresponding HR sections.
