Clocking in KlyraOS only happens on Station: how the PIN works and why not from the personal app.
In KlyraOS, clocking is physically tied to the location: it only happens on the Station devices installed on-site, never from the personal app. This guarantees that the person clocking is actually present and reduces timing errors.

The personal app shows shifts, timesheets and requests, but does not include a clock-in button. This is a deliberate choice: clocking from a fixed on-site device prevents remote clock-ins and keeps the data reliable for payroll.
Station is the site’s shared, verified tablet: it handles clock-ins and department operations and requires the person to be physically present.
Each person sets a PIN on first Station access; clocking asks for it only when that preference is enabled. On the Station you select your name or type your PIN, then choose the action: clock in, start break, end break or clock out.
The system automatically records date, time and location of the clock event. If the logical sequence is not respected, for example a clock out without a prior clock in, the device flags the anomaly before confirming.
Managers see in real time who is currently clocked in on-site, useful to check actual coverage against the published schedule.
Can I clock in from my personal phone?
No, clocking is only available on the Station devices installed on-site, never from the personal app.
What if I forget my PIN?
Ask your site manager to check or regenerate it from staff settings.
Does clocking work without an internet connection?
Station can record clock events locally and sync them once the connection is back, so no data is lost.
Can I see my clocking history?
Yes, from the personal app you can view your timesheet with all clock events recorded during the period.
