Allergens and nutrition values calculated from the recipe
How Klyra automatically calculates a dish’s allergens and nutrition values from its ingredients.
Every ingredient recorded in the product catalogue can carry its own allergens and nutrition data: when you use it in a recipe, Klyra aggregates them automatically, showing the allergens actually present in the finished dish.
Where the data comes from
Allergens and nutrition values for each ingredient are set once on the product sheet in stock; from there Klyra reuses them in every recipe that contains that product.
Aggregated calculation on the dish
As you build the recipe, the system sums up the allergens of each ingredient and calculates nutrition values scaled to the standard portion, updating everything automatically if you change a quantity.
Use on menus and labels
The calculated information can appear on menus, product sheets and printed labels, helping front-of-house staff answer customer questions confidently.
- Allergens aggregated from ingredients
- Nutrition values per portion
- Automatic update if the recipe changes
- Printing on labels and floor materials
Responsibility over the source data
The calculation is accurate only if the underlying ingredient data is correct and up to date: periodically reviewing product sheets remains a kitchen responsibility.
